The program I'm proposing interfaces the Icom models 706, 706MKII, 706MKII/G and IC718 transceivers to a personal computer. To do this it employs the CI-V socket located on the rear of the Icom RTX and a small interface that converts the TTL data to RS232 on a PC serial port. The program works in Windows XP/Vista/Windows 7/Windows 8 32 and 64 bit (tested also on Linux Ubuntu 7.04 with installed the Wine api's www.winehq.com ) and may be configured for serial ports COM1 to COM40. The control set executed through a CI-V interface is quite limited so to get over this limit, in some cases the program will carry out more than one operation in sequence.
Tested with many serial and USB interfaces.
